I am a Certified Wedding Consultant and have been helping couples since 2006. Entertaining and coordinating is a big part of my life so I decided to take it to the next level.
After my wedding in 2005 I had hopes to expand our family, so starting my own business was the perfect opportunity to balance home and work. I now have 2 small boys that are the center of my world. Austen is 7, Corbin is 4 and they couldn’t be more different, which keeps me on my toes at all times! In between planning weddings I try to enjoy as much fun time as I can with my family. We love going for bike rides, getting ice cream at Happy Jacks, playing games and making memories with family and friends. I truly feel BLESSED to have such a great family who support me in what I love. Who wouldn’t enjoy their job if they were always surrounded by happy people and creating fabulous relationships?!
I take pride in the personal yet professional bond I create with my couples. I am with you all the way and as a past Bride said, “NO nerves, NO panic…just BLISS and memories”. In the summer of 2014 I was given the opportunity to assist with weddings for Creatively Yours. I enjoyed seeing each of the couples have an amazing day celebrating with their family and friends. When I was asked to join the team on a permanent level, I jumped at the chance.
I enjoy working with people. I am able to put my organizational skills to use and execute the couples concepts to their highest expectations. Having previously worked in a field where there are many ups and downs throughout the day; I am able to maintain a pleasant, calm and helpful demeanor so you have the most amazing experience on your wedding day.
I have two children. A daughter, Olivia, who is 7 and a son, Ethan, who is 4. They and my husband are my world. After Ethan was born I decided to take a step back from my job and be a stay at home mom. Before I had my children I was a teachers aid in a special education classroom and during that time went back to school to get a second degree in education, my first was in psychology. When school is out we love to be outside and active, whether it is going to the pool, riding bikes or going out for lunch. Not that I have much downtime, but when I do, I like to read or watch a movie. I treasure the times I have with family and feel blessed that I am able to share in my kids special moments. Now I get to expand on that and witness other couples enjoy their special moments too.
